An estimated 100-200 people showed up on a cold march day to protest the fifth year of the occupation of Iraq.Many held signs indicating the cost of the occupation in dollars and lives lost.

Cynthia McKinney is a write in candidate for president. She is standing up for working people and asking the hard questions that need to be asked.

This is why WAR should always be a last resort. Warfare breeds behavior like this.The commanding officer of this soldier should have kicked his ass out of the outfit he's in. Would YOU just stand by while your comrade did this? There are at least three men involved here: 1. the puppy killer 2. Innocent bystander laughing boy 3. Cameraman. I can understand the sicko doing it because he's mentally il , but the two guys standing by doing nothing to stop it i can't understand.

Providence,Rhode Island. A protest of a local restaurant known as Jakies Galaxy resulted in a 22 year old woman being injured when police tackled her.Protesters had been told by police to move and some were complying too slowly.Police maintain that the injured woman was kicking and hitting them.Other members of the group known as Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) were maced by police.
