The Light Project @ The Grand Center

I wanted to write and let you know about the Pulitzers upcoming outdoor exhibition in Grand Center - The Light Project. The exhibition includes four different outdoor light-based installations through collaborations with the Contemporary, Saint Louis Art Museum, and White Flag Projects.

We've launched a web catalogue (http://lightproject.pulitzerarts.org) where we're tracking the installation of each artwork on blogs within the site. We regularly update with new video footage, photographs, and interviews with the curators, artists, and art handlers about the progress. One section I definitely recommend checking out - Rainer and Sebastian's (http://lightproject.pulitzerarts.org/artists/progress/kehres-hungerer/) - they are recreating the roof of the burned-out church on Spring Avenue with the lamps donated by members of the St. Louis community.

The opening of the exhibition is next Thursday, September 4th from 6-9pm.
