The World Naked Bike Ride is an international event protesting oil dependency, promoting positive body image, and raising cyclist awareness. The bike ride’s dress code is “bare as you dare,” so all participants are welcome whether fully clothed, covered in body paint, or completely bare. It has been successful in various other cities such as nearby Chicago, though this is the first summer it will take place in Saint Louis. The Saint Louis event will have some pre-ride body painting at 7 pm.

Come join us watch the documentary about the World Naked Bike Ride and get pumped up for the first ever Saint Louis WNBR event on August 2. Delicious baked goods will be available. Donations of $1-2 from cyclists/walkers, $3-5 from drivers, or body paint are requested. The film screening will take place at the Community Arts and Media Project (CAMP) on 3022A Cherokee St.

Come join us on a bike ride to protest oil dependency, promote cyclist awareness and comfortable body image. Body painting festivities will start at 7 pm before the bike ride. Come as bare as you dare - you don't have to come completely naked to participate! Everyone is welcome.
