1.)Introductions and Backgrounds

*****
2.)IMC and Confluence Updates

IMC Meeting Minutes Sept 17 2008

Facilitation
----------------------------
Digger - I think what we're talking about is how to deal in a good way wih disruptions or disagreements like what happened last time. Open for everyone to talk about it.
Greg - How dynamics work is important to me, combined with information about the individual situations. Setting expectations at the beginning of meetings may be helpful. Something flexible but with some boundaries.
Sean - You mean saying things at the beginning of each meeting. I understad what was happening but I couldn't back it up because I didn't have enough background.

Notes from IMC Meeting 11-11-07

CAPCR sidebar/section on IMC?
- CAPCR will soon be reintroducing local control bill, need an online resource
- Ongoing question about how to offer IMC as a resource w/o simply giving out soapboxes
- How to preserve journalistic profile, and editorial identity?
- Should CAPCR get it's own entire site hosted on CAMP webserver, or embedded sidebar?
- confluence, which has its own website, would get link, not embedded sidebar

- Related: contact Lionel Nixon of UAPO to ask if they could use a website similar to what we could offer CAPCR.

Feature "Wilderness for Missouri" story?

KDHX/DHTV offers training classes w/ multimedia production
-- meld with Digger's ideas for journalism training, e.g. how to work on deadlines, how to find a story, how to frame a story... this suggests 2 complementary media courses.

Notes from 4/5/07 STLIMC Reboot

******Notes from 4/5/07 Meeting

DHTV offers training classes w/ multimedia production
- meld with Digger's ideas for journalism training, e.g. how to work on deadlines, how to find a story, how to frame a story
- mesh with pursuing crossover to other (e.g. non-print) media

Need to offer folks incentive to produce content
- peeps always want get paid
- although many like to do amateur journalism for free, one should still expect "a yeoman's wage for public service"

Music & Video
- encourage participation from arts community
- e.g. cover Shangri-La shows

IMC-STL Reboot Brainstorm #2 Minutes 3-26-07

Present: Scottie, Ben, Peter J.

Outreach strategy: "hit them 3 times," i.e. big splash, then ripple out
to further groups

Ben would like to move forward with Digger's suggested pilot project
- Scottie stresses it would be problematic to burden editorial groups;
don't make it too big.
- Suggest penning 4 or 5 features to premiere with the new site

Tech Ops
- Ben is getting starting on new Drupal website: http://reboot.stlimc.org
- It can also serve as medium for the current working group
- Comparisons:
