JWJ Community to Rally with A-B & InBev Workers

Local A-B Workers, community join InBev workers from Europe, Latin America and Canada

Community to Rally with A-B & InBev Workers

St Louis has cherished the tradition of Anheuser-Busch as a quality employer and important member of our economic community.

So news of A-B's takeover by global giant InBev has raised a lot questions in the minds of St Louisans. What does this mean for thousands of A-B workers, retirees and families? For our tax base? For the philanthropic presence that A-B has been in St Louis?

When: September 27th, 2008 7pm

Where: Emerson Performance Center at Harris Stowe University, 3026 Laclede,
63103

For the past six years, "Bread & Roses" has served as an annual celebration
of the arts in political action and in the lives of workers. This year, Jobs
with Justice is seeking film submissions for the annual exhibition. "Bread
& Roses" was named for the labor hymn which reminds us, "Hearts starve as
well as bodies". This year's theme is "Condition Critical: Health Care in
America." The Films MUST reflect the thematic concept of health care.
